Salzar looked across the Gym to the sauna where the NCadets were locked up, after getting off his call with the Captain he did his duty and informed both they CO was on her way. Tapping his badge again he alerted security which he reflected he should have done sooner. =/\= NE Salzar to security, we need a team down here in the ship’s Gym. NCadets Harris and Barris have locked themselves in the sauna and disabled the heating controls and are preventing us from getting to them safely. They’re demanding to speak to the Captain, who I alerted and is on her way. =/\= he said.

Rainns was not entirely sure why he had been called to the ship’s gym, but he had been in a very intense game of chess with the computer and was on the verge of finally chalking up a rare win against when the alert came through. Needless to say, he was annoyed. He arrived at the gym and surveyed the scene. “What exactly is the problem here?” He asked out loud for anyone in the room to answer.

Logan wasn’t sure what was going on either but she then ran to the ships gym and looked at the COS. “Lt. What’s going on? What are we doing here?” Logan asked the Lt.

NE Salzar turned as the two officers came in, “..NCadets Harris and Barris are....having a difficult time accepting our current situation being so far from home. They are I think planning to harm themselves by overheating the gym’s sauna. They’ve locked themselves in as the temperatures are rising and have used portable force field generators to block access and transport in or out. They’re demanding to speak to the Captain or they plan to go through with their plan for self-harm I think. The Captain has been informed and she is on her way here currently..” Salzar said.

“This isn’t good for them. And besides if we got them out before they’d have to go to sick bay and then to the counselor about it. I think we all know how it is to be so far from home. But realizing that our families back home still loves us and miss us all.” As Logan explained.

”..Try explaining that to the NEs in there, sir..” Salzar said to Logan, offering to give him a go at being the talker to this situation. “..Maybe you can talk sense into them before the Captain arrives.”

In his mind, Rainns snapped, everyone was stranded out here on this ship, everyone. Yet these ensigns had the gall to waste his and the Captains time with their petty demands? No. Rainns was furious, even from across the ship, Fayth would be able to feel his anger, it was more potent than it had ever been. He took a deep breath, his eyes narrowed in anger. “No…” He said under his breath. His hand went to his phaser he walked up to the sauna door. He set it to cut through and pointed it at the sauna door. The engineering team would have to fix it, but that would not be a problem. He fired at the locking mechanism, drilling through it. Once he was done, the door would open. He and the Captain had no time for these shenanigans.
