As Ashley is sitting in the mess hall she just doesn’t know what to do.

Ensign Ashley Logan

Charra paces around a little bit, and sees someone sitting alone, that she doesn’t know. She stops at the replicator, gets some food, and approaches the table. “ Hi, may I sit with you? I am Ensign Charra Lana.. how are you?”

As Ashley looks up she then responds to the ensign “Yes ensign please sit. I’m doing alright. I guess. I’m hanging in there.” As the ensign looks at the ensign as she sits down.

Ensign Ashley Logan

Charra sat down and studied her drink for a moment.” Well that’s good I guess… Are you new here too?”

Ensign Charra Lana

“Yes I am ensign. You?” As Ashley looks at her.

Ensign Ashley Logan

Charra nodded. “It’s a lot to get used too huh?”

Ensign Charra Lana, medical officer

Ashley nodded. “Very much so Ensign. But we can adapt to it. I mean with most of my friends are assigned to a different ship. So I’m pretty sure they are getting to the adaptive bit as well as we are. So don’t feel bad.”

Charra nodded a little bit. “That seems a little lonely..” she didn’t realize it but her face had fallen a bit. “But if you are anything like me, you deal with being lonely pretty well.” Her face took on a deep, concentrating look, almost seeming far away in her thoughts.

Ashley then nodded a little bit as well. “Well ensign,” as she kind of started blushing a little. “I’ve dealt with being lonely quite a bit and honestly I don’t like it. I’ve always wondered why no one would want to be with a trill like me if you think about it. Being lonely for me isn’t a good thing for me, that’s because when my family died, I was alone for the rest of my life and I’ve hated it. But with you on board I’m gonna feel more safer with you here.” As she added on. “It’s just that the fact that I’ve found you very attractively cute and someone who knows that someone’s in trouble with things. I can tell when you are scared and I know when you are worried.” She added. “But know this. I’m always here for a very cute ensign like you before hand and know that I’m always willing to do anything for you. Got it.”

Tolly smiled nervously, he was never good with introductions and always worried he was intruding, but as his mom said, you don’t make friends unless you try.

“Do you mind if I join you?” He asked

Logan looks up and smiled at Tolly, she then noticed that it was hard for him to do introductions. She then also noticed that he’s being nice and there was nothing wrong with nice.

“No of course not Ensign. Come sit with us both. We would love to have company from another fellow ensign on board.” As she sat there blushing.

Charra blushed when the first ensign she had joined called her cute. And then felt the presence as someone stepped behind her and blushed harder as she scooted over so there was more room for the new comer. “It’s always good to have company, thank you for joining us.” She smiled widely at the other two, and worked really hard to stop blushing. That, however, is harder then it should have been for her.
