Rainns groaned. “Thank you.” He said to the lieutenant. He took a few exaggerated steps over to the briefing room. An officer who did her own thing, fantastic. Rainns was a stickler for the rules, and a commanding officer just using rooms at her pleasure for whatever she deemed necessary annoyed him. Rainns wasn’t even sure that there was a chime to the briefing room, he had never thought to look. Fortunately he found one and pressed it. “Take two.” he muttered to himself.

When Rainns would enter he would find the briefing table askew with easily 30 or more PADDs each in the process of being cataloged and lined up in piles for some later purpose. Turning from the stack of PADDs the Romulan ranked Fleet Captain stood at 6‘2 in height. She was of a firm build, femine, yet strong of body and mind with a natural charisma that was approachable yet disciplined in stance.

”..Ah how can I help you Lieutenant?” She asked. Obviously on a ship this size she could not immediately recognize every one of her officers or their positions.

Rainns stepped in, observed the room and his captain, and bit back a sarcastic reply to his commanding officer’s questions. “I’m just coming to report that I have safely boarded,” he responded to Andone’s question. He needed to get back Sharah as quickly as possible, so the quicker this meeting went the happier he would be. “So if you will just certify that I reported in I will be on my way.”

Drudoc rose and came over taking the PADD with the boarding orders on them and looking them over. “..Ah Lieutenant Rainns, my new chief of security. Good to have you aboard then.” She said signing off and handing it back. “..I take it you are eager to get to work and your check ins done? Well I won’t hold you up then if such is your wish. I admit you would be one of the few who prefer such a stance instead of chatting away my time..” She said.
