At the same time as events in the Arboretum, Bridge, were going on, down in main engineering the shift change too was happening. As things finished the engineering crew found an interesting sight coming out slowly from the life support vents in the ceiling.....dusty white snow! A clear and sudden drop in the life support filters had caused it to start snowing in the large main engineering room and the support areas. Further to go along with this was the old Earth tune of ‘Dashing Through The Snow’ came over the local comm system.

After having pulled an All-nighter working on some side projects Miz’uki was drawn out of her office by the music “What is that Horrible Noise!??!” She growled the fur standing on the back of her neck and her tail thrashing about showing her agitation Then she saw the snow “WHAT IN THE NAME OF EVERYTHING IS GOING ON!?!” she hissed angrily as she ran to the environmental control panel she slipped on the snow and fell on her backside hitting her comm badge as she got back up she shouted =^=”Bridge this is Engineering…What in the name of Montgomery Scott is going on!?! Is there some Tradition of Pranks that I was not aware of? It’s currently snowing down here and playing some weird horrifying overly cheerful song!?!”=^= she then made it more carefully to the Enviormental controls and started working the diagnostics to try and stop the snow “Will someone please shut that garbage off!!!” she shouted to the Engineers who all were trying their best to get this situation sorted “I don’t care if you have to unplug the coms speakers just shut that noise up!!!”

Miz’uki

Drudoc’s voice came over the comms evidently dealing with their own holiday cheer on the bridge =/\= Andone to Miz’uki we’re equally having similar problems up here and across the ship. We are beginning to suspect either pranks by the Q or else someone or a group of the crew are going to be spending quite a bit of time in the ship’s holding cells.

Thankfully environmental controls could be restored to normal operations and the horrid music shut off in turn in main engineering. There would of course be a snowy bound clean up period but that could be handled easily enough.

once the music was turned off and the snow had stopped she turned to her department

“Alright crew lets get to cleaning this up” she said I don’t care I want this snow cleaned up and Anyone who even so much as thinks of pulling a prank like this on my watch…will find themselves transferred out before they can even say Merry Christmas!” she said clearly not amused at how her engine room had been turned upsidedown
