Tabris nodded, understanding that he had spoken his piece and was going to let the lieutenant be regarding the incident. He didn’t hold her accountable, he didn’t know why she was being so hard on herself, and he didn’t want to make her feel bad for continuing with it so he dropped it. Those previous thoughts were in the open should she want to hear them but he wasn’t going to push the matter. “I would be honored to learn from you Sharah, if you don’t mind me using your given name that is I don’t want to be rude.” He said with a smile. “No problem at all, this is your home on-board after all. Please don’t let me be in your way.” He said before the ringing of the chime.

“Oh you aren’t in the way. You are doing a huge thing for me. I’m pretty clumsy so I’ll do my best to avoid where you are working.” Sharah could hear his thoughts, she certainly couldn’t stop it. But she did her best to make it part of the white noise rather than specific noises. She nodded at the use of her name. “I’m off duty so I have no use for rank.” She shrugs. This whole department head things was a pain to her. She wasn’t sure if it was better for him to use her rank but he wasn’t her department so she let it go. Plus if she was going to try and show him how to hear Geoff she felt first names would be better. “It’s not rude. I’m free to work with you any time after Alpha shift. I spend a lot of time in the Arboretums anyways so whatever works for you.”

Sharah only knew a couple people who could get to her door without her knowing who it was… “Come in.”

The door opened and there was EXR-11! It whirred into the room, and its head swiveled around a full 360 degrees to take in the room’s appearance before settling on the two officers. =/\= Greetings sentients, EXR-11 would like to offer our services to hold things in construction of your humble living space, if you like? =/\= It said, clearly again it was Tel’eck, just with her voice disguised and muffled this time with a slight voice filter applied showing the children had tried to make modifications to their robot.

Sharah grinned, the appearance of the children’s robot making her smile. She shrugged. “Certainly EXR-11. This is En Tabris Adam. It will be up to him. En this is EXR-11.” Sharah moved out of the way towards the bedroom. She didn’t want her toes being rolled over.

Tabris looked the robot up and down with a grin on his face as he said, “It’s very good to meet you EXR-11. I would love your help with this project.” He replied, figuring it was created by the kids on-board but wasn’t aware that it was being remote controlled. He started by saying, “How would be best for me to share your duties, verbally or shall I upload the plans?” Tabris asked as he got on one knee to be eye level with the robot’s dome.

Sharah attempted, with her hands, to convey to Tabris that the robot was remote controlled and the voice as well were the ship’s children, but she wasn’t sure how successful she was being. She knew the CO was worried about the children making a disruption but honestly she thought it was Brilliant. The robot would allow the children to go into and see areas of the ship that weren’t safe. If the robot was damaged it was okay, and the children were safe. But she didn’t have to be the CO either.

Tabris understood the visual clues that Sharah was using but didn’t let on with the robot, so he had some help from the kids onboard, that would be great! “Alright then EXR-11, what I’m doing now is building the walls. You see I’m modeling it after a 20th century cabin back on Earth, and I’m going to show you how it works, then I’m going to show you how to install it, and then I’m going to let you take charge. How does that sound?”
