USS Ark Angel
If it's not chocolate, it's not breakfast.

”..I can understand how a ship the size of the Ark Angel would be a challenge. I know its probably not much help but is there any way you could....build a bigger boat mentally to surf said waves overtime?” She inquired.
“That is the idea, but too big of a boat and then there are other complications. It’s a very delicate balance, but it has to be possible. And if not I’ll make it that way. I’m not ready to leave Star Fleet yet.” And she wasn’t. There were days she was exhausted and beyond tired. That she just wanted to go home, but home was, for her, a person, and that wasn’t going to happen yet. Soon, but until then she’d manage on her own.
Sipping the last of her tea and setting the cup down, Drudoc followed up with. “..My Father never felt I would amount to anything in the Star Empire and after his disgrace and my entry into the officer exchange program between the fleets he disowned me when he found he couldn’t use my new found fame and prestige for his benefit. Equally those same monks on Vulcan who I had to train under as a ‘security precaution’ felt I was too emotional, too unruly to accept Starfleet’s way of doing things. They felt I would fail. Yet as you say.....here I am.”
“My mother was, well she still is, over protective. She’s not a strong telepath and struggled with not being able to help me when I was little. When I joined Star Fleet she didn’t speak to me at first. She was too upset, too worried. I’m sorry that happened to you, Captain. In an ideal universe our parents would always be our staunchest supporters.” Though Drudoc was obviously that for Tel’eck.
”..My Mother despite her ties to the Imperial Navy always did support my dream to one day join Starfleet if I could. Sadly she....never got to see me join the Exchange program because my Father poisoned her for making him seem ‘weak’..” She said with a carefully controlled emotional recollection of the painful memories.
Leaning forward with a sense of strong conviction and encouragement in her eyes, “..Lieutenant, never let anyone tell you how far you can do or what you can do. You are only limited by the boundaries you restrain yourself with. Who we are.....what we are....what and who we will become can only grow when we shatter those boundaries..” Drudoc said with a certainty that was deeply believed in.

Sharah grinned, “No worries captain. I’m too stubborn for my own good. I may doubt myself a lot, but I never give up. My time learning parkour proves that.” There was never a session that Sharah didn’t get hurt, and she always went back. Her progress was slow, but she improved every time, and that was all that mattered. “I made it through the Academy and I’m even a highly accomplished surgeon. And that was no easy task with the thoughts and doubts of the other medical staff in the room. And so it will be if I ever have to make a command decision. I won’t hesitate to provide you an answer nor will I hesitate to make a choice when I have to.” Sharah was quirky and could seem flighty but she was very strong willed and every once in awhile others actually got to see that in her.

”..I’m glad to hear it Lieutenant. But it seems we got far off track from our original topic of plants and your plans.” She said checking the time. “..Sadly I need to report for the morning bridge briefing from the night shift. So I must for now take my leave. Thank you again for the invite.” She said rising.
Once any final exchanges were made Drudoc nodded then departed out the door to go about her day to day tasks.
