Drudoc held up a hand. “..One last thing before you go Commander. I like a few of the crew have a child aboard. Due to the lack of any living family accepting her on either side of her parentage she has no where else to be then here by my side. That said if for some reason a problem occurs concerning her know that I will not be giving her any preferential treatment in punishments than anyone else. If you got any questions on the possibility of handling such things let me know now.” She asked.

“I am aware of starfleet regulations as to children on board and my responsibilities, I also have children and the needs they have are known to me.” Contemplating what it would mean to a parent. “Do you have any personal instructions has to how discipline should be handled in regard to children abound?.”

”..It depends on the situation and events. I trust you will handle them fairly and impartially if they come up, as appropriate to the situation and events that arise.. I might advise you to work alongside the counseling officers as they usually are the go between for the civilian crew and starfleet officers..” She replied.

“I will take that under advisement Captain. I have come to rely on Mental Hygiene as an important resource when discipline is required.” Soval has found that adults, specifically Vulcan adults often forget how difficult it is GLaDOS children to manage their emotions and base impulses.
