Sharah stared at the message on her screen. She dropped her head into her hands. She couldn’t ignore it and as much as she wanted to she could only reasonably put it off for part of the day. Sharah thrived from adversity though. It was all she’d ever known. Nothing was easy. =^=Jr Lt Fayth to LC Soval. I’m available now if that works for you, Sir.=^= She went ahead and put her materials away for the experiment she was working on in her minilab in the office. Then she left her office and just began to walk working on rising above the noise as high as she could and preparing for the intense headache she would have not too soon from then.

=^=I will be momentarily sir.=^= Sharah was glad she was already walking about. Her office was too busy for a private conversation. “Computer Deck 4” she changed the destination of the turbolift. She stepped out and down to her quarters. Sitting at her desk she turned on her console. =^=I am now sir. What can I do for you?=^= She waited for him to start whatever communique he had in mind.

“ I wish to speak of your promotion. Specifically your reaction to what I presume was telepathic stimulus.” After a pause. “ Is this expectable?”

Sharah would have preferred to have the counselor or doctor present for this. Someone who actually understood her condition and that she was capable of doing her job and serving. She had never met a Vulcan who saw beyond her condition. They were always judgemental and belittling. She had no reason to believe this would be different. Was it acceptable? Did she have a choice?
“Of course, LC. What specifically would you like to discuss?”

“What can be done to minimize your discomfort, and wether you would be comfortable bringing Doctor Suder in to consult?” A pause as Soval considers the need for small talk. “Your record speaks for its self Doctor, but there is no need for you to suffer if we can find a workable solution.”
