Soval waited quietly, his instinct was to call the adults down and preceded in a business like manor to address the legal and disciplinary issues. Alas no, as he had suspected it was a parental issue that needed resolved.

Keying a request for the Chief Counselor to attend.

“Can I depend on you two to wait in the hall without further violence or should I summon security back? Your parents and I have must have a conversation.” Soval was not pleased with the behavior of the parents. He regretted not simply asking ‘Do you agree’. Much further damage could have been avoided.

Tel’eck gave a nod, and after a second so did Ron’al. Both got off their chairs and went out into the hall as ordered.

Drudoc and Faval in turn regarded the XO to continue from there.

“ The Counselor will be joining us shortly, in the meantime we have some formalities to address.” Pausing a moment to gain their attention. “Starfleet has very specific regulations concerning minors and criminal assault and mutual combat.” Again Soval pauses. It was a bit theatric but he wanted to impress on lieutenant Faval how serious he took the current state of affairs.” As you are both qualified to act as council as well as their guardians, are you willing to forgo formal charges and settle for non judicial punishment in this matter? Soval did not feel formal charges were appropriate but if either parent refused he was prepared to call the Chief of security and turn the investigation over to him.

”..I see no reason to file charges, at this juncture Commander..” Drudoc said.

Faval, was quiet a contemplative moment as if he was going to file charges. But figuring in the end how that might end he shook his head finally. “..There is no point I would feel either..” he stated.

“Then as we concur, we only need wait for the counselor to review the security footage, And if she concurs we will then move forward.” Soval knew much of the responsibility for correcting this problem will fall on her and her department going forward.

Dinui walked down the corridor at a slightly brisk pace, she wasn’t entirely certain that her summons was about the altercation in the lounge with the children and the pastries. She hadn’t heard the start of the fight but she would do her best to help. Though if it was a completely unrelated matter she would be more than happy to offer her assistance. She noticed the children in the corridor outside of Soval’s office she raised her eyebrows slightly as she walked closer and pressed the chime.

“Enter” Came the XO’s voice, as the door slid open. “ I am in need of your guidance Counselor.”
