Once any further questions were followed up on Drudoc dismissed Codem from the briefing room.

As Codem left, he smirked slightly, making a mental note to re-download all of that data from Izzin before they got to Pandiri.

Once Codem left Drudoc began to look over the PADD information and reference it with the Ark Angel’s computer records for when this area of space had first been surveyed as well as any indicators of intelligent life or other threats.

No listing of this mystical Pandiri was present, in fact, the world is only mentioned vaguely anywhere it’s referenced–vague scans showing some sort of sensor ghost, the occasional sighting against the nearest star, and the like, but nothing to confirm the planet was there–nor any reason the Montezuma would’ve been asked to check on it.

Drudoc hadnt actually been looking for information on this supposed planet, though it was good to know where the Montezuma was most likely. The fact there could be an enemy force out there with cloaking abilities did concern her. Since Hobus sent the Star Empire into such chaos rising tensions from many vectors had made this area of space dangerous to varying degrees. Drudoc queried the computer again about when this area of space had first been surveyed and by whom or what, she was looking for dates, probe information or ship names, etc.

Exact dates of survey were estimates at best, as multiple races claim to be the “First” to survey it, though the oldest recorded date is a Trill date listed as having been the “old calendar”, sometime roughly equivalent to Earth late in the year 900. It’s believed that Gorak Zel, the first host of the Zel symbiote, developed an experimental Warp Drive system and mapped the area, however, due to controversy surrounding Gorak, all record of this was either sealed or deleted. The first confirmable surveying of the area was by the Vulcans in Earth year 1957.

After this event, the area was determined as a neutral territory of the Romulan Star Empire–however they are listed as relinquishing the ownership of the area post-Hobus.
