The door slid open to reveal a tall, lith Vulcan of late middle years, wile his uniform was of an older but still slowed veriant. His coloring indicated his genetic stock had evolved in the Higher latitudes and was relatively consistent. A long confident stride brought him into the room where he came to attention. “Lieutenant Commander Soval reporting for duty, as ordered sir.” Tho the use of ‘sir’ had fallen out of favor in starfleet over the last few decades, it was very much so when he went threw the academe.
