Having finished with the doctor and her medical exam, Sharah was glad she had already scheduled an appointment to see the CNS. Luckily the medical exam didn’t run over too far and she had enough time to go up one deck, to the counseling suite on the port side of deck 11.Sharah wasn’t sure about this appointment. She’d always been very comfortable and very open with counselors and psychiatrists. She’d been under their care since she was a small child. Her condition, No Sharah, not condition, you aren’t sick. her gift made it necessary to work out all the mess that landed in her head. However the last two CNSs had been very unwilling to work with her and one even accused her of expecting special treatment because of it. She sighed. As far as oversensitive telepaths went, Sharah did extremely well. She wasn’t as telepathically talented as Tam Elbrum, but was was skilled and she worked hard at controlling it. Most like her didn’t have her level of control and it was exhausting. Often making her seem anti social. The mental strain required a lot of down quiet time. She enjoyed working with others, but her personal time, was reserved for herself or the very few shew as able to actually relax around. Her gift required a lot of rest. She’d been hospitalized 3 times, and she had no desire for it to happen a 4th time.
So she stood outside the counselor’s office, feeling trepidation. How was this CNS going to perceive her? Would it be another battle? More accusations and work to find another officer who would work with her according to her treatment plan? Or would this CNS accept her as she was and help her as best he or she could? She rang the chime and waited.
En. Fayth, Science - Botanist.Beforehand, Guy have had a long day examining dozen of paperworks between cases of marital divorce onboard and babies losing their will to eat lunch. Guy this, Guy that, he had literally just spent the entirety of his shift with a proper duty round he usually wasn’t really used to. Unfortunately NE Lopez and Carly were offshore so all the work, instead of being split was all on him. But then the case of Miss Fayth came up to the ‘to do’ list and a new prospective enlightened the Counselor’s mood “Oh well. At least isn’t an issue about love…” he muffled walking through the ship, I mean, who was Guy to understand Love? Right? “Ensign Fayth… over-sensitive betazoid, these old counseling files doesn’t help me. Okay, let’s take something to drink and let’s see who are you, Miss Fayth.”
Some hours had passed before the Ensign came around his door and hit the chime. On the table several mugs of tea were laid and the impatient Guy was trying to think on how to approach the betazoid that so far was under his viewpoint a rare case and possibly unique in her way “I feel like waiting for my love… I have never had a love!” He facepalmed before dematerializing all the mugs “Come in!” And as nothing had happened, the strange and weird counselor sat on the sofa and faked to actually play something on the PaDD. With a cup of tea. Obviously.

Sharah heard the summons and sighing heavily in worry she stepped through the door. “En Sharah Fayth, Lt. I’m here for my on boarding check-in.” She took in the man sitting on the couch before her. He held a PaDD, but his gaze wasn’t really focused on it, so it appeared. It could be anything on it. She had picked up a few tricks from Joseph on how to read a room by simple observation, but her own trepidation was getting in the way. She noticed the cup of tea and inwardly smiled. The tea reminded her of Dr. Zarath. She hated tea. Well maybe not hate. She’d never been fond of it, but Dr. Zarath thought tea was the answer to everything and had fobbed all types of teas on her to help her. She really hoped she didn’t have to have any right now. She’d rather water or maybe uttaberry juice, like her mother made back home. Remembering herself she handed Lt. Freeman an iso chip with her psychological file on it. She looked around the room trying to get a feel for the counselor in front of her.
En. Fayth, Science - Botanist“hello and welcome to my suite, Ensign” Guy jumped up like a soldier “What is this?” he perhaps examined the iso-chip. A blue on, fancy and tiny. The counsellor walked toward his desk and as he sat he drank some of the hot beverage that was still warm and with a nod he deduced it was Fayth’s psychological folder “That’s awesome, thank you.. I must be honest, Ensign Fayth right? I could not find much on the personal database than a few stories. So, before we start, would you like something?” he stood up and walked nervous toward the replicator. At that time Guy found it a bit terrifying the fact that she perhaps was special and as all special things that Guy managed to have, he wasn’t sure how to act I mean this is an extraordinary case.. Guy thought ” I have a bit of everything… but may I suggest some pancakes?”

“Thank you, sir.” Sharah moved over towards a seat and sat down. “It’s my psychological file, Sir. I know that sometimes files don’t transfer in a timely fashion along with personnel so I brought copies with me. Which makes no sense because it’s a matter of simply hitting a button on the LCARS interface to transfer a file to a new duty station. It takes a lot more time and effort to move the person and their things.” Sharah nodded confirming that she was En Fayth. She figured it was something the counselor did to help remember new faces and new names. Stories? Oh that couldn’t be good. When people put it like that. Was he talking about her first year at the Academy? Or when she was sick on Challenger? Or something else. “Just some water please. I ate a large breakfast on the transport this morning.” What stories? What had she done? She hadn’t had any real problems while on Earth for her research. “What stories sir?” She couldn’t stop herself from asking. The nerves were getting the better of her and she knew she had to put a stop to it. She wrangled in the swirl and began picking out everything that was increasing her anxiety and tossing it out, away from herself. Holding onto them was not going to help her.

“Oh nothing to worry. Your own story’s stories. You know experiences, out and in psychological and medical stuff. Normal life… that’s it.” He still stood on the side of the replicator, scratching his chin and then his head “yet might I offer you something… perhaps a camomile. Really it doesn’t bother me and you don’t have to be this anxious! I don’t bite.” He tried to smile! positivity Guy thought get her positivity.
