Once Codem had sufficient time to settle in his quarters, Simon was ready to lead him next to the briefing room as requested. “So, before I take you to meet the captain. Do not let her looks deceive you.” Simon said in a friendly tone. He knew about the circumstances that led them here, and the fact the ship was cloaked highly limited those responsible quite significantly. He gestured toward the turbolift that would take them to the briefing room.

Simon smiled but offered no response to the question other than that, and a look towards Codem, just as the doors to the turbolift swooshed open. Simon walked down the short corridor, and made his way into the briefing room, ensuring that Codem was able to follow.

Codem followed, making a mental note about the XO’s lack of response to his question. He reached down to the pocket on his left side, smiling just slightly feeling the PaDD there. It had to coordinates he needed, and all of his research contained on it as well. He had managed to get Izzin and S’Dan to somewhat modify the log files from the Montezuma, so they were easier to read.

Drudoc turned as the pair entered the briefing room. Standing at 6‘2 she herself held a natural charisma or leadership, beauty and charm, but also eyes filled with a careful keen intelligence. “..Thank you Commander for handling our guests. I trust they were seen to guest quarters?” She asked Starr.

Once he replied she nodded, “..Before we attend to our guests there is one more urgent matter that has recently just come in on subspace..” she said handing a PADD to Starr. “..You have been granted command of the USS Asimov effectively immediately with a promotion there in. You and NE Rufus and Burnes are to leave immediately on one of our Longevity class runabouts to rendezvous with the ship to take command. Until command sees fit to grant me another executive officer I’ll have Lt Commander Trainor fill your role temporarily..” She asked showing the command orders to him.
