V’Lath had just come aboard and decided he would go ahead and start the routine check in procedure of Dept. Head, Counselor, Medical and all the rest. He was surprised to learn that currently the XO was acting as the Chief Security Officer. He checked directions on his PADD and headed for the XO’s office. He was a bit nervous, anyway as nervous as a Vulcan could be. This was his first actual command posting and he didn’t want to make a bad impression. He arrived outside the XO’s office door, checked his uniform for any imagined wrinkles, gave it a downward tug anyway and pressed the door chime.
