Greetings members of the STF Zoo and those yet to join the illustrious ranks of captaincy within STF.

This Friday, the 31st of July 2020 marks the 18th year of the original Oed V charter and the appointment of the first Governor by then President Larry Garfield.

We’ll be kicking off the celebrations with a write in through the Oed V ship channel on Discord! From 6pm on the 31st July AEST (Australian Eastern Standard Time) you are welcome to come into the channel and talk about old times on the colony and discuss what’s next for what is a truly unique part of STF history.

What’s done in a write in?
- We talk,
- We respond to picture/writing prompts,
- We do online jigsaws/find-a-words/crosswords,
- We nibble virtual snacks and drink virtual drinks,
- We laugh,
- We talk some more,
- We may even do a word war or two (if I can work out a way of doing so).

I know that’s not a good time for most everyone else, and that is why this is just a kick off and a count down to the 31st in Europe and North America. We’ll be doing something similar in the morning on Saturday 1st August (5amish Australian Eastern Standard Time) (unless that clashes with the handover ceremony, of course/I’m not awake by then).
