I know that I don’t post in command very often, so seeing me here is unusual. However, when electing the people who will run the show for the next term, its important to have your voice heard.

First, let me say that I know Sarah and Rob are good people and I would never say anything derogatory about them because they just don’t deserve it. They have both given a lot of themselves to this club and all their efforts are and have been appreciated over the years. But the truth is, they have had their time already. They have had many chances between them to focus on how they wanted STF to be as an RPG club. They have helped us all and guided us along the path they saw fit during their time in leadership positions.

I would like to endorse Jerome and James who have also proved themselves as long time members and contributors. From my personal interactions with the two of them, I believe they would be a wonderful team to lead STF for the next term. They have excellent skills and new ways of looking at existing conditions in the club. Over the many, many years I have been a member here, I’ve grown to understand how any kind of change is difficult for certain people. I see it happening over and over again when elected officials are pulled from the same group year after year. But I’m a firm believer in introducing ‘new blood’ into the works, especially when the newly elected have such enthusiasm to lead our group to a better way of doing and understanding things and situations that may arise.

Jerome and James have shown their dedication to STF and are willing and eager to take on a bigger role. I believe we should let them. Electing them isn’t really ‘taking a chance’ like some of you might think. They are a known quantity to us all. The two of them are here to stay and would like an opportunity to make a difference. So, here’s my endorsement. I believe in them and would like to see them as Prez and Vice Prez.

A reminder that endorsements should try to only mention the ticket they are endorsing to ensure they are not seen as portraying either ticket in a positive or negative light other than the one they are of course endorsing.
