For Veep nominees:

1. Why? Why on Earth would you want to be Vice?
   

I want to be Sarah’s Vice (Man that sounds like i’m a drug now!) because I feel I bring a somewhat unique ‘down to earth/club’ approach to approaching members of all ages and vintages alike. I believe solidly I’m well liked in the club as a whole and am fairly quick to reply to concerns as I see them. Further, I have run the gauntlet of being Prez once before for better and worse, and want to gain more experience from an experienced member of STF who’s been through the ringer more then I have.

1. A solid team is critical for the Prez & Veep. How often do you talk with your counterpart on the ticket, what is your relationship like?
   

I talk to Sarah fairly often. Both in non-stf stuff and with current events. Our relationship I feel is close and often Sarah or I will mention a problem, concern, or the like and bounce ideas off each other on how we could fix it. Often Sarah with her deeper knowledge of experience finds a solution to which then I often play devil’s advocate in trying to poke holes in it that others might come up with. Its a good working relationship I feel to get stuff done.

1. Describe your style of collaboration with your Prez.
   

I assume here you mean Sarah and I work together. As I mentioned above we actively discuss different problems or such in the club often to simply vent frustration before often trying to come up with solutions. Sarah especially has been valuable to me this past term in my efforts to manage Black Fleet. For example we went through every possible combination of solutions to try to save the Olympic, but in the end the problems we realized were just too great that to save the ship would have meant gutting everything that made the ship currently what it was. Plus in the end the GM shortage meant we couldn’t even get a gm to fill that role.
