The Davis/Sinclair Campaign has a primary platform consisting of four changes we feel would Improve member support, Reform club management practices, and Engage membership (specifically younger/newer membership) in ways that they have not been in the past. The four points are:

1) EGO shall remain voted on by Flag & Fleet Captains, but shall only consist of Captains, FCAPTs, and Commodores who have a minimum year in command of a ship and three years of club membership.

2) A Board of Admiralty will be established as an advisory board to the Exec and FCOMMs and shall serve in two year staggered terms (possibly shorter, one year rotations) during which they are restricted to serving in any other governmental cabinet post.

The goal here is to create some higher level advisory positions, keeping the knowledge base of the club intact, but allowing the tenured members of the club to be able to participate but also allowing for newer and new members to participate in the day to day nuts and bolts of the club.

We want to see our Flag officers stepping up and advising and guiding while allowing the newer members the ability to participate and invest their ideas into the club as a whole.

3) With the exception of TECH, Cabinet members shall only serve two consecutive terms before taking a mandatory cooling off term. Assistant Directors and AFCOMMs will remain unrestricted.

Two terms with an additional at the discretion of the president before taking a term off.

4) Promotions above Commander shall be made on a merit-based scale taking into consideration Club Tenure, Performance of OOC duties, Recommendation of fellow club leadership, and Time in Grade.
