You know, introducing myself as the presidential candidate on a campaign ticket was really not where I saw my experience going when I rejoined STF about 15 months ago. I was just going to quietly sneak back in and get my creative writing juices flowing, but well, it turns out that my passion for this club and its people were what really came back (the creative juices, eh… let’s just say I’m not going to ever be one of the top roleplayers in STF, but I hold my own :P). I’ve spent the last seven months supporting Steve as his VP and I’m really excited to be able to work with Rob now to share our vision for making STF an even better place.

A quick summary of my experience since we have some new members following along this time: I’ve been a member of STF since 2001. Most of my government contributions have been in the Gamemaster Department and the Internet Department (what preceded TECH). I was President for two and a half terms before my offline life stepped in and kept me away from STF for quite a while. Since I’ve been back, I’ve done some work in the Engineering Department, but primarily spent the last term focused on a variety of overarching projects having to do with new member support. Really, that mostly looked like spending the last three months keeping the Challenger from breaking the website even more. :) That’s my primary RP position at this point, although I keep a JO on the Athena too.
