Do you think the club is more here to serve the members or to Sim Star Trek? In other words, which is more important to you? Please explain.

Hi Tim, it’s an interesting question you asked because that very question is often at the heart of ‘club versus the members’ discussions and arguments.

This club exists as a place its members can come to create and write Star Trek stories and RP with like minded individuals. STF is a Star Trek writing group that provides for the members to Sim Star Trek, and the club is nothing without its members. Yet each and every one of us can choose to be here and participate, volunteer our free time or go somewhere else.

The clubs administration framework and policy has been shaped by its members, created by people like you and I so we can write trek stories. The club is not separate from its members, and serves its members by providing an outlet to RP Star Trek. As to which is my favourite? Because I dont see them as two separate things, I’ll say the club, because we are the club, and we sim Star Trek.
