The Election Season has begun, and nominations for President are now open.

In order to nominate a candidate, second a nomination, run for either President or Vice President, endorse a candidate, or vote in the election, you must have met the definition of a member 30 days prior to the start of election season and remained active through that time period. The current definition of member is that you must have an active STF account and have held a position in the government, a role-playing character, or a gamemaster position for the past 30 days.

To nominate a candidate, please post a note on the Election Ship with the Topic “Nomination” and write in your message who you would like to nominate to be President. Another member must then second your nomination. Once a nomination has been moved and seconded, it is up to the person being nominated to accept or reject the nomination and name their running mate. At that point, I will either recognize the ticket or not. Once the ticket is recognized, it may begin campaigning; not before.
