Good Afternoon all;

Jack and I wanted to take a few moments to highlight our main intent for this term. Star-Fleet has always been more than a club to both of us; it is a creative home where imagination meets friendship, and where working together has helped us make this club what it is today.

It is the enjoyment of working with other members across the club that made us decide to run together this year. Jack and I both share the same vision of continuing to improve the club. To get the club into a position where it is ready to face the challenges and opportunities in the future.

To do this, we need to recognise that the club has changed. We no longer have the same number of members—which at its peak was around 280-290– that we had when I first joined. Our structures do not have the agility that we need as a club to thrive.

Over the next few campaign posts, we’ll talk about how we want to continue to streamline the fleets and Departments to be more responsive to the club’s needs, and continue the work of the CMMB in increasing advertising and engagement.
