It’s no secret that a certain number of our ships are struggling. An early part of my Presidential plan would be to sit down with each Fleet Commander and identify crisis points within their fleets. From there we would engage with the Command Team of each ship, determine what they need and create actionable goals. Right now, COs of struggling ships may feel a lot of pressure to fix everything right away, which ends up making it harder to fix anything. The biggest thing we can do to help our ships is identify progress as positive, and set month to month goals. Hopefully by the end of the term, having a much greener board.

The fleets themselves may be touched as well. At present, Foremost has six ships where Pioneer and Meridian have Four, and Black Fleet has Five. With an odd number of ships, we’ll never achieve a total balance. But through a rebalancing, we might even things out some, and for the sake of the Fleet Commander’s workloads, as well as the amount of attention they can give any one ship, it may make things a little easier.
