I have the following question for Rob Archer.

In your introduction post (https://www.star-fleet.com/core/command/election/posts/178540/), you stated: “I’ve also been vice president for several presidents…”

How is this remotely true? In August 2020 you were elected as Sarah’s VP. You stepped down just under six months into the term. And that’s it. I do not understand how that fact leads to the statement in your intro post.

Good morning Dan, I can see how my statement is probably seeming incorrect. Let me clarify, yes it is true I was VP for Sarah in 2020 and I did step down within 6 months, mainly because at the time in my life I was starting my own business to try to earn a living so I had to make some cutbacks in STF to make that fit. For the other roles I am including experience running with non-elected presidents in that as well. You are right I should have better explained that in hindsight. In this case I am referring to years and years ago where TJ Morgan wanted me to be his VP, which coincidently was my first forays into getting involved deeper into the club’s politics at those times. While we did not get elected, I consider it useful experience.

To clarify I probably should have said ‘vice president with Sarah, and vice president candidate with other hopeful presidents in past elections’.
