Ok so this will be the first of the detailed policy pieces.

STF Governmental Audit.

In my overview I talked about slimming down on the number of administrative positions and promoting efficiency of procedure and policy, but I think what some people hear when I say things like that is “I’m going to just lop off bits and pieces that I don’t think are needed. Spread the load out and stand back and go see, I done increased productivity.” Cause well that’s what I’d hear when my manager said some such nonsense to me.

Nothing could be further from the truth. What I’m talking about is more an Audit conducted with both my cabinet members and the members of TECH to design systems, policy and procedure that automates and reduces workload. A decreased workload needs a decreased amount of people to do it.

However, first to be audited are some of the legacy positions, such as Librarian, Dockmaster, GM Archivist. These positions have been around since EffWebb and will almost certainly be fully deprecated in Exodus. PDept has shifted several of it’s programs to Academy and with the changed application process being able to be completed almost effortlessly from any smartphone at any time it should be natural that their staffing levels would decrease accordingly.

This first phase will probably happen over the first four months and is more about adjusting resource levels to the new platform. Any further changes to government structure would be after that and would be dependant on other goals, for example like overhauling the new member experience.
