Given the recent membership trend and the fall below 100 members, what during your term would you do to return the curve towards the positives as opposed to the current downward trend we’ve seen in the last 6 months.

More specifically towards membership recruitment and advertisement but feel free to divulge into retention plans.

The first thing we propose is to update the landing page. Has anyone actually looked at it recently? It’s all news items. And though that information is relevant to current players it is not interesting to potential new members. Current listings are that the Ark Angel needs an XO, OED V need a governor, and then announcements about the election. First neither of those positions would be available for new players, and the election process is not relevant to potential new players because even once they joined it would not be soon enough for them to be allowed to vote. So a revamping of the landing page is essential. We know that Daniel, our esteemed opponent, has suggested a ship spot light (https://www.star-fleet.com/core/command/command/posts/125103/) This would be amazing information to put on the main page. And we hope that whoever wins his idea gets put into action. This would give potential new players the opportunity to really look at a ship and explore. Yes the menus are at the top but we want this information easily seen and accessible. Another thing to consider putting on the front page is the fact that we have alternate RPG areas like TOS, ENT, Connie, Leviathan, OED V, just to name a few.
