Where did engineers keep their engineering toolkits when they needed them on away missions or around on the ship? They didn’t have toolbelts or the toolboxes they carried around, did they? Was it like with the storage lockers for phasers and the like, they were kept in different locations and could be used from there?

Hey Russ! Sorry I personally must have missed your earlier/original question posed.

Equipment would likely be in storage lockers somewhere off screen. As for toolbelts and boxes? They had an engineer overcoat thing in voyager with pockets, same with the medical and science folks too I think!
