GMD Report May/June 2018

Overall Stats: (as of September 4th, 2018)
- 25 RP Environments (does not include Oed V as a self-sim RPG or X-Fleet)
- 15 Active GMs (includes 4 GMT placements & 4 GMs currently over their GMing limits)
- 2 GMMs (Gamemaster Mentors)
Vacancies:
There are no current vacancies.

GMT Program:
-Liam Schoepp: Liam passed his final review and has been promoted to Junior Gamemaster. Well done Liam!
-Ian Kerby: Ian’s sim is moving towards the final act.
-Christopher Bennett: His sim is starting slow (for various reasons) but no concerns at this point.
-Jeremy DeSpain: The new sim is moving along as the crew encounters possible trouble right from the get-go.
-David Eads: Dave has been confirmed for a placement on the Saracen with Lindsay Bayes as GMM. He will be starting once his sim plan is approved.

Prospective GMs:
We have two people still working on the exam.

Gamemaster Mentors
One of our key tasks this term is to rebuild the Mentoring side of the program. Currently we only have two Mentors and that makes it very hard to maintain the program in its current robust state.

Amanda Noon Archive
I’m going to re-post this once again in case people missed my announcement: One of the casualties of the switch was the Submission Form that everyone uses to submit sim, GMT and GMM info. It’s broken and can’t be fixed. I’ve talked about it and our solution here: https://www.star-fleet.com/core/command/gmd/notes/1398/.

Reference Manual
Russ Watt’s Avisarite species (https://www.star-fleet.com/core/command/gmd/notes/7191/) was approved and is now a part of the Reference Manual (though it still need to be physically added).

Overall GMD Status:
This month saw the start of a new term and the appointment of Geoff Joosten as the new Assistant GMDir. Christopher has remained as Archivist. We’re currently working on setting our agenda for the term and tackling the projects that have been in the works for awhile now. I’m very excited about the team and I think we’ll accomplish lots together.
