Engineering Department Report: November 2019

Last month, I identified three goals for the department:

(1) Begin discussion of Chapter 2 of USCM.
(2) Finalize department records regarding ship/station specifications.
(3) Update work started by previous Dockmasters regarding canon ship registry numbers.

For goal (1), it was tabled once I found out that Matt was not going to be available this month due to real life.

For goals (2) and (3), Ben has been hard at work at updating the department documentation. We do now have a spreadsheet of each ship’s class and whether there are any plans to change class, which is a huge help!

This month also saw a review of a proposed specification (the Hero class). The discussion proceeded well and the specification was returned to the designer for revisions. I hope to see the revised version soon!
