Overview

May 2026 was a continual transitional month. However, in this case, I have added Nicholas back in on the MOTD Roster. There has been no change in anything.

Library and Documentation Progress

One of the most impactful accomplishments this month was completed by me, who successfully updated some of the MOTD. This effort greatly improved the organization and accessibility of Engineering resources and eliminated outdated or redundant content that had accumulated over time. As a direct result, the Engineering Department’s Message of the Day (MOTD) has been significantly cleaned up and streamlined, presenting a more professional and readable experience for department members.

Building on this momentum, Nicholas will now begin work on the Dockmaster List, with plans to migrate it fully into the Library as well. Once completed, this will ensure that Dockmaster records accurately reflect currently active ships and remain easier to maintain and update going forward. I have been updating the Dockmaster List as it is needed. I have currently added the USS Memorial on there because the USS Memorial is being decommissioned.

As of late, the Engineering Department will be receiving the Reference Manual shortly as we will be overseeing everything to Engineering.

Technology Submissions

There were none submitted. Tried to get a hold of Brian Richards still haven’t had any contact with him at all. So I am not 100% sure if we will be continuing the BALP-1 Tech. I have attempted to reach out to him a second time never got a response. He has been officially removed from the MOTD.

Ship Specifications and Design Direction

There is still an ongoing Kavaa’ton Heavy Dreadnought with James Sinclair. He had said that he still wants to continue the progress, and was contacted by 12/19/25. His project was removed.

Submission Process Improvements

Still No further Improvements, as I have been the one doing everything as of late. As of May 2026.

Administrative Updates

There are no current updates as of yet. Nicholas still wants to be part of the engineering department as my Assistant Engineering Director. I have chosen that I needed 2 other Assistants and have been working extremely well.

Closing Remarks

While May was still marked by adjustment and restructuring due to changes in command, the Engineering Department remained productive and focused on strengthening its internal foundations. The work completed this month positions the department well for increased activity and growth in the coming term. However, still no change.

Mr. Sinclair’s project has been removed as I have not had any word back from him what so ever.
