Reassignment of the USS Memorial and Air Wing Personnel

After due consideration, the Fleet Council has reached a decision regarding the future of the USS Memorial.

Effective immediately, the Memorial will be decommissioned, and her crew will be transferred to the USS Athena. This course of action has been determined to be the most stable and sustainable path forward for both crews and the broader fleet structure.

It is important to note that the USS Athena is not configured to support an embarked air wing. As a result, Tony Findora will be coordinating with affected personnel to explore placement elsewhere pending final administrative confirmation.

We do not anticipate any members being lost in the transition.

TECH is hereby directed, in consultation with the Fleet Council Member, to depublish the Memorial within the next 14 days.
