USS Challenger

Commanding Officer: Steve Johnson

How is your ship looking overall? Overall the Challenger is plodding along, yeah, that’s a good word. Ryan’s time has freed up so we are getting regular sim progress, and the crew for the most part is doing a good job. A minor set back in getting the XO in training program going, but we will work through that! Right now the ship just needs some general TLC to help get things moving forward again. After that we just need some more new members!

What was your favorite moment/post on the ship this month (include a link if possible!)?

Name one thing you want to improve on the ship for next month. Crew moral. It seems a little lack luster right now, so hopefully we can inject some more fun and interest in this next month.

Gamemaster: Ryan Williams

Summarize the sim plot so far as if you were providing it to a new member joining the ship: A massive trans warp conduit has opened up and the largest ship any of the came through, right on top of the Challenger, Smashing into her and skidding along the top of the ship.. Chaos issued Injuries and damage on most ship. No Shields Auxiliary power and a drift in a slow three axis spin, the crew now is fighting back to their feet to figure out what’s next.

Once crew member has sensed a verry powerful mind.

Who was the biggest contributor this month to driving the sim forward? I would say there are two. The XO Viveca Arlander (Katherine Dedul)
and Ilena Keelara Rox (Jennifer Ward)

We are low on Cadets

FComm’s Comments: The Challenger is moving along the sim a bit better than last month. Activity seems to be up in general and the cadets are active, not just the DHs. Which is what we want to see. Steve has been doing a great job. A new XO will be filling in until the XOit program finds an applicant.

This month in the Academy has been a bit slow on results. We had two interested members for the XOit program. One began their application, but did not finish it. The other never started their application. Tom Hillman is going to be filling in as XO until an application is approved.

Moving forward we are working on editing and updating the Academy courses to make sure the information is up to date and correct.
