One term down, one term to go and then I’m retiring to Risa.

I want to address plans for the future as well as why it may appear that my administration is passive. The plan for the future, as I see it now, is focused on getting new players and getting players somewhere on the GM track. Both of those things are easier said than done, but plans are always in progress and we will get there. The day to day problems, “X ship isn’t doing well.” “Y player did this.” You may never hear of how those problems came to be resolved or how the solution I do end up posting here, if there is one, was reached. I have found it best to work directly with those involved in a situation in order to find a solution that gets everyone where they need to go. Those discussions have been productive but ultimately they are quiet.

Our goals:
Resolve, or set on the path to resolution, the GM shortage.
Find new players and keep them engaged.
Reach a point of consistently balanced fleets of healthy ships.

There will be projects that crop up around every corner. Such is the reality of being President. But seeing the forest for the trees and also following the big goals knowing those will change the kind of small problems you face- that’s also part of the job.
