Gamemaster Training (GMT) Program
-J Ridgley with Geoff Joosten as Mentor:
Jake’s sim began July 23. He’s had a 90 day review and passed. So we’ll see him at sim end.

-Kirt Gartner with Robert Archer as Mentor
Kirt’s sim began November 16. That places his 90 day review at February 14.

-Sam Haynes with Gene Gibbs as Mentor:
USS Viking has stepped up to host, awaiting current sim end to begin GMT.

Other News:

The Chernov still has no GM, and the GM shortage leaves us with no eligible volunteers so far. Being an alt-rpg set in a timeline not everyone wishes to engage with, the number of possibilities shrinks before the question is even asked. And then no one is interested for various reasons, all legitimate.

I am currently aware of 3 people somewhere in the process of the exam and recommendations.

The number of GMs is 60% that of the number of places they’re needed. This is why we talk about the GM shortage so much. It’s at this point that all I can say is, if you think you might want to be a GM but you’re not sure or it seems strenuous, talk to one of us at the GMD or any GM you know about what it’s like.
