Twas the night before this one, when all through the club, Not a thread was a’stirring, not even a single-sentence one; The tricorders were hung by the warp core with care, In hopes that Cabinet Applications soon would be there; The players were nestled all snug in their ships; While visions of tag-posting popped up like… something that rhymes with ships and is Star Trek related; And the Prez in his sweatpants, and I in my work clothes because even now I am considered ‘essential personnel’, Had just settled our brains for a break from Excel (spreadsheets we use to track everything), When out in Command there arose such a clatter, We both took a breath and dreaded to see what’s the matter. Away to the my Windows OS I flew like a flash, Tore open the site page and threw up the slash icon. The glow of the monitor on new printed words, Gave a lustre of joy to words typed below, When what to my reading eyes did appear, But a miniature comment and eight tiny rein-deer (emojis), With little old drivers still so lively and quick, I knew in a moment he must be someone working on dial up. Yet more rapid than a court transcriptionist the cursor it moved, As was typed, in all caps, the words we all love to hear:

“RELAXED POSTING SPEEDS ARE ACTIVE, let’s give up a cheer!”

First off huge props to my awesome Rhino vice president James for coming up with this epic poem! I had wanted to do something fancy for making this post but this blew me out of the water compared to what I was drafting! So thank you James.

Secondly for those of you new to the club, a little clarifier and history lesson. The club has a history of relaxing posting limits around this time of the holidays. Until just after the New Year. So with that in mind all posting limits are relaxed from now (12-9-21) until after the New Year (1-3-21) at which time they will return to our normal enforced limits.

Finally, on that note everyone enjoy your holiday cheer! I hope despite the relaxed limits folks will continue to post lively and enjoy things. But most of all have fun either within STF or with your friends/family around these lovely holidays!
