Appearance: Ovi had the typical Andorian Antennae associated with the imperial guard from his frontal skull bones. There was a pinkish scar running through his right eyebrow down to his right cheek, with the milky coloring of his eyes it would be hard to determine if the right eye was damaged. He is dressed in the black and silver of the Imperial Guard, with a Phaser on his left hip, and an Ushaan-Tor on his right.
Background: The Northlands of Andoria are considered a wasteland, a testing ground. The Andorian Imperial Guard have a training facility there. It is where recruits are trained in the harshest conditions, they are considered the best of the best. This will be the future of Andoria. General Tal’josep Que’innovi commanded this station. The Aenar people were a myth, a legend, barely believed to exist. When a patrol discovered a small child, pale, alone seemingly wandering the wastes, it was taken in. The child barely recalled its own name after so much exposure. The medical team was able to save the child. Though they could not understand how the child could see, despite being blind based on the condition of his eyes. The General adopted the boy, the general was not an easy man, he was a military man, and his adopted son was raised as such. Raised from the day he was found to be Imperial Guard through and through. That was 30 something years prior. Ovi was assigned to the Liaison Exchange program to ease the tensions that were growing due to his lack of mated pairing at his age.
Ovi is not mated, as he is considered genetically unacceptable. Until the time of the Enterprise, he was unaware that he was actually from a subset of the Andorian people known as the Aenar. Since he had visited with his people, but found their pacifistic ways disconcerting and cannot stay among them for long stretches. Though he does find it refreshing to go ‘home’ and be in the only place where there is no dangers. Since his time in the wild wastelands, Ovi has a distinct fear of being isolated. While he does not need constant companionship, he does feel the need to hear that minds are close by, that he is not alone.. Ovi is a strict adherent to Ushaan, the Andorian code of honor. As an Exchange officer Ovi, is assigned to the MACO, and reports to the MACO CO.
