Rana Singh

Rana was the son of a wealthy pair of immigrants who had moved to Canada for more opportunities. It was also in Canada that he spent his childhood, until one night as he and some friends were away from the city light it was that he would never forget, that he looked up And there in that sky bereft of the pollution of city lights that he really saw the stars for the first time. The stars leapt out at him. And all happening on a night where the northern lights were dancing madly across the sky. He would never be the same again. He wanted to be there among them. It was a strange mystical spiritual pull.

He spent two years taking space science courses at the University of California at Berkley. He knew though that there was a better university. In San Francisco. Star Fleet. There he took courses in everything from Federation Diplomatic studies to navigation, stellar physics and others. But now he’s an XO . Something that makes him glad he took the command courses. Although his heart and mind still miss his first home he loves space his second home just as much.
