Ahna Aureilia Sullenhar

Ahna Aureilia Sullenhar is a blend of the vibrant cultures of Risa and Earth. Born of a union between her Risian mother, Ayo, and a Starfleet officer who crossed paths with her during a vacation on Risa, Ahna embodies the fusion of two worlds.

Her early years were marked by the transient lifestyle of a Starfleet family, until her father’s departure, leaving her and Ayo to live their lives on Earth. Settling in San Francisco, they carved out a life together, surrounded by the unfamiliar yet welcoming sights of the city.

From a young age, Ahna harbored an innate curiosity about her father’s profession, an engineer in Starfleet. Inspired by her mother’s tales of his exploits, Ahna gravitated towards Starfleet and engineering, hoping to follow in his footsteps and perhaps bridge the gap between their estranged relationship.

Upon reaching the appropriate age, Ahna eagerly enrolled in Starfleet Academy, determined to create her own destiny and make her mark in the universe. Despite the challenges and uncertainties she faced, Ahna excelled in her studies, driven by a deep-seated desire to prove herself and reconnect with her father’s legacy.

After graduating from the Academy with flying colors, Ahna’s first days of of the Academy was intercepted by an immediate assignment to the USS Memorial, a bittersweet reminder of the sacrifices made by those who came before her. While she outwardly dismissed any notion of joining Starfleet to seek out her father, deep down, Ahna couldn’t deny the lingering hope of one day crossing paths with him amidst the vast expanse of space.
