Education/Starfleet History: Pre-med at Cardiff University, Med School at Cambridge University, Completed first three subspecialties in England and practiced there for about 8 years. Attended Starfleet Medical and completed a fellowship in Xenopsychiatry – spent the next 7 years or so working for and teaching at Starfleet Medical/Starfleet Academy Medical in San Francisco. That work included short term shipboard assignments, but never as a permanent crewmember as most standard vessels would not need someone so highly specialized long term.

Medical History: Unremarkable

Personal History: Met Olivia Bell, a grad student in Education (and the love of her life), while at Cambridge University. They were married partway through her Psychiatry residency. About ten years into their marriage Olivia died in a tragic accident. It was some time after this that Elin left the UK (too many memories) and began her career with Starfleet.
