Jacob Benjamin

Born on Mars, Jacob Benjamin is the son of two prominent musicians in the planet’s capital. In his childhood, Jacob was exposed to a great deal of propaganda and material about Starfleet’s Exploits during the Dominion War. He quickly became enthralled with the idea of becoming a member of Starfleet, much to the chagrin of his parents. Along with musical studies, Jacob quickly began to develop interests in the constructs of the technology around him and would seclude himself from his peers for hours learning the inner workings of a PADD or console. In the years leading up to his admittance to Starfleet Academy he would also extend this to old Duotronic and old electrical computers as Jacob found a new love for the general history of the Federation itself.

After being admitted into the Academy, Jacob struggled to communicate properly with his teachers and peers which nearly led to him washing out during his second year due to somewhat declining grades. While he would bounce back, but even to this day still has some problems at times working with others as he will not properly communicate what his thoughts or intentions are.
