Description
Misana is a dark skinned caitian with mismatched eyes. She’s considered quite unique back at home. Her looks are similar to those of a tabby cat. She has little to no fur on her skin, but sports a rather long tail, usually decorated with a bow and sometimes a bell.

Personality
A hard working woman, Misana aims to do all that she can for Starfleet. She’s creative and enjoys painting and sketching in her spare time. Misana still holds true to her natural cat-like instincts, and cannot deny the simple pleasures of chasing around a laser light.
Misana has always been a hard worker, achieving straight As throughout school, and even completing an archeology and anthropology course before being posted on the Levi. She is an overachiever who finds artifacts thrilling, she loves looking at them and determining their origin or purpose.
Misana is a little too focused on her work, and often says she is married to her work to avoid any advances.
Due to her past as a police officer, Misana has fast reflexes when it comes to weapons firing. However, when she picks up a gun, an intermittent tremor makes its way into her hand and she freezes up, going back to the time she shot a man.

Backstory
Being born and raised on Cait, Misana wished for a better life filled with adventure. After completing college, she joined a police academy on Cait, passing with flying colours and joining the police force. Things were going great for Misana, before one day she was in a chase with a criminal. Hearing a noise and turning towards the Caitian opposite her, she instinctively pulled the trigger and killed him… The Caitian turned out to be a regular civilian that happened to look a lot like the criminal.
Misana was discharged from the police force, and given a permanent leave onto the USS Challenger as a sort of redeeming chance. Misana didn’t take this lightly and developed a psychosomatic pain in her heart, the exact place she shot the civilian. She passed the Academy and was then posted onto the USS Leviathan as an ARU member specialising in archeological and anthropological studies, as she had completed a course on the Academy ship.
Her psychosomatic pain only appears when she is bored or isn’t being occupied by work, when she has time to think about her guilt, the pain usually gets bad when she’s under a lot of stress. When Misana isn’t stressed or bored, and is occupied by work the pain disappears.
