Theodore Juniper Jones

Strengths: Incredibly loyal, very fast learner, doesn’t give up, dedicated and passionate, very good listener.

Weaknesses: Obsessive perfectionist, inexperienced, naive, far from a smooth talker but is still a people pleaser, terrified of failing.

Personality: Theo is soft spoken and tries to avoid conflict, he cares deeply for his other crew members and tries to keep a generally positive attitude when he opens up.

Backstory: Theo grew up in an incredibly affluent family with his father- Leopold Jones, mother- Leanne Jones, and older brother- Oliver Jones (7 years senior). Leopold was the Captain of the USS Mariner and Leanne was the Captain of the USS Dormus, with both parents holding such positions within Star Fleet they were rarely home which left Theo and Oliver alone quite often with their caregiver, Josie Marie Langcast.
Oliver was always making amazing marks, constantly attempting to stay in contact with their parents, and never doing anything even considerably wrong— he was the golden child in the eyes of their parents; while Theo became incredibly detached from a young age, choosing to only focus on his studies. Finishing his standard studies at the age of 14, Theo had still not managed to get the affirmation and praise he’d so wanted from his parents so he decided to act out by getting into multitudes of fights. However, when Josie Marie became incredibly ill with an unknown illness, Theo immersed himself deeply in the studies of xenoepidemiology and found what he’d thought to have been a cure. In the end the cure did not work for Josie Marie but it did increase her life expectancy by six months, all of which she reported to be near painless— from there Theo took his findings to present to Starfleet in hopes that the illnesses, ThraxFlu, could be cured within other patients across the galaxy— a few test trials later, Theo had perfected the cure for Thraxflu by the age of 16.
Having worked alongside Starfleet for two years, he decided to apply to the academy and was accepted with a near perfect score on the entrance exam.
In school Theo pushed himself as hard as he possibly could in order to prove to himself and his incredibly successful that he could become something, that he could make them proud.
