“Of course. Why don’t you tell me how your psych evaluations have gone on other assignments?” She asked.

Flynn moved to the couch and settled in. Leaning back, he stretched his legs out and began to tell his story.

“Well. . . I reckon there weren’t too much out of the ordinary. Last eval might say something ‘bout itchin’ and scratchin’ to get back into space, which I’d think would be pretty normal for anyone that’s served on a boat. I’ve been land-locked fer the last 5 years, teaching the young’uns how to fly and navigate the stars. Figured it was ‘bout time I got back out there myself.”

Skye listening to him also settled back and watched him as he spoke. “And how did you like teaching?” She inquired when he was finished.

“It was an adventure all on it’s own. Hard to believe that I was once as green as those fellers going through the Academy, I’d like to think I was able to teach’em a thing or two about flying the big boats. There were some, though, that I often had to wonder how they got their britches on in the morning.”
