As I stepped out of the turbolift and stood outside the sickbay doors, I nervously looked down at my uniform and fixed my hair. I wanted to make a good first impression especially as i am late reporting due to my stay in hospital for appendicitis. I am a shy quiet girl but loyal and responsible. I have a sarcastic side but I am kind and easy to talk to. I kept replying in my mind. Finally I stepped inside and look for the doctor. Just ahead looking a pad o see him.

With Confidence I approach and say good afternoon sir cadet Dede reporting for duty and ready to start my new assignment in sickbay in the uss endeavour.
Sorry I’m late but I will make up for it in my work.

I said as he looked up at me.

A green skinned woman walked over to the new arrival. She gave the young woman a nod.

“I am the Chief Medical Officer on board,” The woman said, her voice smooth and a bit cold. “My name is Marlene, but you can call me Doctor Judas, or just Doctor will suffice. “As you are new on board, you are not on the official duty roster yet, so there is no need to apologize for being late. This is simply an appointment to get your entrance medical exam out of the way.” She motioned with her hand towards the examination area. “Please have a seat on one of the empty beds.”
