The XO’s yeoman had left a Padd on the counter in Flynn’s quarters. It showed the daily itinerary for the new XO’s first week about the Endy. First order of businees on this day was his boarding eval with the ship’s counselor.

He was almost surprised to see that said meeting was first on the list. Five years planetside had left him forgetting some of the minor boarding details, but as must be done with all new crew members, be they cadets or command, the eval must be done.

After showering and a light breakfast, Flynn made his way through the ship to the CNS office. He rang the chime and waited patiently for the response to enter. . . .
