As all good stories starts, they all need to end at a certain point - to let the others start a new one.
Surely it was sad but the months aboard the Endy, made wide changes in Kai and how he viewed now the universe.

And it was there, in the Hangar, awaiting for his shuttle to arrive awaiting for the transfer into a station and then finally on the Atlantis. With his baggage in hand and his PaDD in his other, he was now quiet and calm.
