It was a tough day, nonetheless all the days aboard the Endeavour was tough and for Kai it was finally time to rest. When the lights were off and his bed ready, Kai started overthinking about his adventures aboard the ship, when suddenly it popped in his mind that he had still a plenty reservoir of different tea of different worlds in stasis awaiting to be used (his father loved tea and with the help of a friend managed to collect different kinds).
“What can I do with those?” He thought. The thumbs were rolling; the saliva was rising as he thought about those sweets teas. He always loved the Japanese roasted tea but also appreciated the more chiller Vulcan version and was absolutely keen on the Bajoran’s one. “Ah yes!” He exclaimed in his own thoughts “I will make a tea party, if it is okey to the Captain. I guess tomorrow I will contact her.”
For the joy of his mood, he hoped that the Captain could give him a space where to make this “Party” and as soon he felt asleep, another day came through the doorstep.
He would immediately wear his uniform and take the nearest turbolift to go on the bridge and formerly ask about the event which the crew could enjoy.

Before even entering the bridge, the air in the turbolift started being heavy and warm. Kai had to check if it was his imagination, but after a brief analysis he was sure that it wasn’t his imagination at all.
Bling! made the turbolift opening widely the sliding doors.
“Excuse me, why up here everything is so warm?” Asked a Lieutenant with the yellow shirt “We have some problem with the environment unit. We’ll fix it as soon as possible.” Replied this.
It was possible that the control unit was fused, as it was most common way for the environmental conditioning to break down. He didn’t wanted to stop thinking about it and just before the Captain could reach the Ready’s Room to search some relieves for the wet and hot air, he ran towards the woman and stopped her course in the middle of the Bridge.

“Cadet Kai Oliver Kingstone, Ma’am!” Presented himself with courtesy and standing at ease “I would have a propose to do, if we can talk about it?”
It was the first time to come in contact with the Captain and his nervous nerves were about to blow up. Fortunately for him, Kai was good at hiding such nervous faces and behavior.

“Sure Cadet, mind if we talk in the ready room?” Cassandra gestured toward the room she was headed toward.

The Cadet nodded and followed the Captain in her ready room. Entered it, he was relieved by the cool of the environment. “Finally some freshness” he thought. Now, looking around, he was searching for a seat to sit on.
