Kaylee laughed heartily at Corvax’s suggestion. “While I don’t mind a little fun, I’m pretty sure that it would add a sense of impropriety for the XO to be dancing on any tables, so maybe more truth than dare,” she commented, her eyes twinkling in delight.

Cmdr Adrie, XO

K’Resh raised an eyebrow, unfamiliar with whatever truth or dare was. “I do not know of this game, is it a drinking game?” she asked with a smile. “In my spare time I engage in combat training…” she announced, not that it would be much of a surprise to anyone. She paused for a moment, unsure of whether to mention her other passion as it was not something one would normally expect of a warrior. She let out a little sigh as she decided it would be good for them all to get to know each other. “I also sing…” she added quietly, wondering how they would take it.

Lt K’Resh (CE)

For an instance, Kai’s face twirled and smashed forming a really confused expression: A klingon singing? Plenty of them sang but never he would have ever thought that K’Resh would be capable and be good at it. He kept silence while awaiting someone to break the awkward silence.

Kaylee’s face had to mirror Kai’s, although perhaps her years of experience as a counselor helped her hide her amusement and confusion better. Of course, she was well aware of Klingons that sang, but it didn’t quite fit with the profile she had built of K’Resh so far. She chastised herself briefly, knowing that she should know better than to form such assumptions about someone before getting to know them.

Corvax smiled hearing that K’Resh was capable of singing” brilliant! Ok so truth or dare is simple, someone asks another player is they want truth or dare. For instance if one of you ask me which one I want. Let’s say I choose truth. So then the asker asks me a truth question. Let’s say someone asks me the truth about say my sexuality as an example. I’d say the truth. Now let’s say I choose dare. The asker would dare me to do something like say as an example going up to someone and act completely childish. Its relatively easy lieutenant what do you say? Want to give it a go?” He asked after he explained the rules.

“I would give a try, Dom.” He replied still amazed by the CE hobbies. “But as Miss Adrie said, just truth… I don’t want to kill the joy, but the Nine-forward seems an inappropriate place to dance and do embarrassing stuff in front of colleagues.”

Cadet Kai O. Kingstone - Scientist

Dominic grinned even more when kai agreed” alright that’s two now people in how you sir?” He asked paron with eagerness and looked at K’Resh “what do you think? Do you wanna join? You dont have too if you dont want too. It’s just a thought of course” he said to both lieutenant’s waiting to see what they said. He thought it would be a fun way to learn more about each other.

“I’m with the commander. It would be… inapproriate for senior officers such as the XO, Lieutenant and I to do things unbecoming of our position, but I’m OK for the truth part, for sure” Paron responded.

Dominic started biting his lip looking at them,he felt he might of forced the game on to them which he didn’t mean to. As a result Dominic’s mood shifted from happy back to his shy nature and had ultimately clammed back up” s-sorry....we dont have to play I shouldn’t of forced onto all of you....” he said as he began feeling guilty about even bringing up the idea to them. He wanted to have fun but he also had to consider the concerns and consequences of most games for them.

Kaylee smiled her thanks at Paron for his delicate handling of the situation, but Corvax’s response was clear as day without even needing to lean on her empathy. She gave the cadet a comforting smile and commented, “it’s always a difficult balance on these Academy ships when you’re first interacting with superior officers in this manner. I’m all for asking questions, though, whether they be personal or professional in nature, so give it your best shot.” Her smile had quirked into a grin by the end of the challenge.

“Ahhh the Academy… the life of a cadet (for me) is really, really tiring.” Sighed Kai looking to some of the people at the Nine-Forward “When I will graduate I will surely be happy and satisfied about my work! I must say that even when I enjoy some rest, the hard work I made makes that rest even more sacred” giggled “what about the period when you were still Cadet, Commander Adrie?” Asked to the XO “there were some grumpy officer like Mr. Crankypants?” Referring to the transporter Chief.
