Dominic smiled glancing at leuitenant paron before looking down at his hands “I blame my father for exposure to starfleet he was fascinated with the ships and their blueprints, back when he was a kid. But I don’t regret joining at all.”

“You can keep your blueprints and your meat shields,” Kaylee commented with a laugh as she took a swig of her wine. Even though she knew better, she could swear she felt the relaxing effects of alcohol coursing through her blood as she laughed with the staff members and the cadets. This certainly felt more homey already than her previous postings and she hadn’t been here long. “Ok, so what does everyone do for fun?” she asked. “And I swear this is not a former counselor talking,” she added with a slight giggle.

Dominic smiled “back home I used to help my grandmother make lots of stuff up she passed of course. Then afterwards I would use art as a form of an escape to keep the seizures at bay with the meds I take, or I use art to help relax me so I can sleep stress free. I am pretty good at art,I mainly use canvas and palette knives to make my art,its of course abstract art. I get the art gift from my great grandfather and all things medical from my mother. She always told me that it was a perfect skill to have. Hence why I’m here right now.” He said smiling then looked at paron “how about you sir? What do you do in your spare time?” He asked shyly.

Kaylee listened to the cadet with interest and gave a self-critical laugh. “I’m not much for art, so more power to you,” she commented with a grin and then turned her attention to Paron. “Yes, how about you, sir? What do you do in your spare time?” Her amused grin stayed on her face, giving light-heartedness to her slightly snarky reply.

Paron chuckled warmly at the comment. “Well, I typically go scrambling and mountain climbing. Whenever I get the chance, it only can do so much in the holodeck. The feeling is artificial, and you know you’re not really about 900 meters above the ground. But, it’s almost as good as the real thing,” he smiled. “Plus, we pretty much have access to all of Earth’s ski resorts - and I do enjoy a downhill slope of snow, and mountain biking. So, I guess - for me, that’s my spare time - keeping fit through extreme sports,” he says with a smile.

“Earth has an old invention known as a motorcycle, a two-wheeled contraption with an engine, and they can be thrilling to ride on dirt-tracks. That’s something else I fill my time with,” he added. “So yeah, anything extreme sports - that’s me,” Paron replied, the adrenaline pumping from just thinking about the dangerous things he had gotten up to when he was younger. The reason they wouldn’t trust him with a symbiote and he ended up unjoined. “How about you, cadet?” he asked Kai.

Kai, who heard their amazing hobbies, instead had in his pocket two solely hobbies which he practiced in his whole lifetime: one was archery, the other was cooking: “I admit, I am a guy of few interests. “ he said “Beside researching old airplanes blueprints and spacecrafts ones (which I consider an entertainment for my brain when I do not have nothing to do), my two hobbies are archery and cooking.”
Omelettes? No problem! Beef filet cooked in wine and with potatoes as condiment? Pff. A joke. Kai was good at cooking, and almost everyday he passes at least a hour or two learning new recipes
“When I was 9 my father showed me the canteen of his ship. The cook, a certain Mr. Gerald was a good cook! He was my first teacher” he laughed “the first recipe he made me make was a betazoid plate: Uttaberry Pudding. I almost killed him because it was so bad. But then After some practice I managed to learn how to make one properly. I can cook Klingon, Terrestrial and Vulcan food too.”
Having replied at the question, Kai was now fulfilled of wills to prepare for dinner some Spaghetti con butarga. He almost drooled at the idea. But then he realized that he was still with the group and that maybe it was not that hygienic and normal to do it in public.
Oliver would finish his drink and after looking that all the juice was gone in the glass he asked K’Resh: “Lieutenant, I wonder what are yours hobbies.” Already guessing some possibilities.

Cadet Kai O. Kingstone - Scientist

As Paron described his hobby set, Kaylee shook her head in his direction. There was no way that anyone was going to catch her on a ski slope or behind a motorcycle… or really doing anything extreme. Although, she was willing to try most things once… before she could think too hard on that, Kingstone began covering his cooking prowess and she could feel her mouth begin to water. She momentarily pondered whether it would be improper to ask the cadet to cook for them. He sounded skilled.

Kaylee laughed heartily at Corvax’s suggestion. “While I don’t mind a little fun, I’m pretty sure that it would add a sense of impropriety for the XO to be dancing on any tables, so maybe more truth than dare,” she commented, her eyes twinkling in delight.

K’Resh raised an eyebrow, unfamiliar with whatever truth or dare was. “I do not know of this game, is it a drinking game?” she asked with a smile. “In my spare time I engage in combat training…” she announced, not that it would be much of a surprise to anyone. She paused for a moment, unsure of whether to mention her other passion as it was not something one would normally expect of a warrior. She let out a little sigh as she decided it would be good for them all to get to know each other. “I also sing…” she added quietly, wondering how they would take it.

Corvax smiled hearing that K’Resh was capable of singing” brilliant! Ok so truth or dare is simple, someone asks another player is they want truth or dare. For instance if one of you ask me which one I want. Let’s say I choose truth. So then the asker asks me a truth question. Let’s say someone asks me the truth about say my sexuality as an example. I’d say the truth. Now let’s say I choose dare. The asker would dare me to do something like say as an example going up to someone and act completely childish. Its relatively easy lieutenant what do you say? Want to give it a go?” He asked after he explained the rules.
