Kai, in his depth, wondered also what kind of name was Torias. It was even a name? The only thing he did was to stay in silence while the man in agony was contemplating his poor leg and who knows what was thinking.
Believing he could do nothing for him to relief his pain, the Cadet crouched and inspected the injured limb with a torch, so everyone could have a better look.

Paron looked over to Steele and saw his leg was injured, but he quickly got on the comms =/\=Doctor, we need to get him safe to transport, but even my basic medical knowledge says that’s it’s a bad idea to move him right now, any suggestions?=/\= he asked the away team as he continued to assess the other crewmen’s injuries.

Liuetenant (J.G) Torias Paron, CoS

=^= What if we put the leg in a confined stasis field? =^= He commenced talking =^= We could modify wavelength of the tricorder to make a temporary stasis device. The only problem is that we will have few minutes to move him.=^=
The Idea wasn’t crazy as it could seem: Kai for one of his Academy Project, had created a similar device with reused phasers batteries, a Gamma Ray emitter and some basic circuitry. The only difference is that they had limited phasers, and the batteries they had were sufficient just for 3/4 minutes. Cables and motherboards were not a problem, and tools, they had a bunch of tools with them.
With the help of K’Resh, maybe their chance to increase the time of endurance of the batteries could be optimized as she knew more than the fellow Kingstone.

Cadet Kai O. Kingstone - Scientist

Kai’s examination would not yield a lot - given that he was in a bulky old EVA suit, though it was evident that the man’s leg was bent in a way that was not natural.

The entire ship shifted just then and caused everyone to tumble to one side in a rather undignified fashion. Kai would slam against a series of cabinets. An overhead door opened and contents spilled out to tumble harmlessly on him given the limited gravity and the EVA suit. However, one of the things that covered his head and helmet was, after clawing it off, was what looked like a hammock.

“Ouch” he grunted hitting the helmet interior a bit as he slammed toward the cabinets. =^=Ahh! Damn, what the heck is this, a Hammock?=^=
Struggling to take off the piece of equipment that obstructed his sight, Kai fell on the floor while due the gravity and movement of the ship, the tricorder flew off its holster, slipping on the floor with the poor Cadet.

K’Resh and Paron would come up against a table or console, the former tumbling over it to land on his side on the floor. The three crew of the ship landed in a heap along one wall. Oddly enough, the CMO was already near a wall and only was flattened against it while all the others tumbled about around him.

After the shifting had ceased, Kai took time to remove the piece of sheet covering the helmet, then surprised to notice it was indeed a hammock he opened a channel and asked: =^= everyone’s okey? This is not a good sign=^=
He then got up trying to take the tricorder which was near the injured man.

Cadet Kai O. Kingstone - Scientist

Picking himself up from being battered around a little Paron quickly responded by taking a look. Hearing the Cadet’s voice come over the comms was a sign that he was OK, and looking around he saw none of the crew were seriously hurt, but he then had an idea. =/\=Doctor, is the ship’s crew safe to transport to sickbay? We’re running out of time here.=/\= he said as he started aligning the pattern enhancers to the new area. Paron saw an advantage now that the three crewmen of the ship were much closer together, and waited for the doctor to clear transport of his patients.

Lieutenant (J.G) Torias Paron, CoS

As the crew picked themselves up which, given the limited gravity, was not that onerous, they found that the pattern enhancers had also taken a tumble. A quick inspection would show them to be unharmed, just piled against a bulkhead. The patient with the broken leg had slid against the island table. Scans would show that it was a nasty break but, apart from shock that could prove fatal if not attended to, was not at yet at risk to fall off the vitals wagon so to speak.

Crane, the erstwhile captain of the Golddigger spoke up, “If we don’t get off this rock we’ll be a part of it.” He helped up the crewman who had the arm injury and stumbled toward the exit. The CE would note that this latest episode had caused a greater rift in the decking of the ship and the glow of the plasma leak was greater. He would suspect that that too was about to breach fatally.

“Thats why we’re here, captain, let’s get you off this rock,” Paron replied, resetting the pattern enhancers and getting ready to get the crews back to the Endeavor. The condition of the ship made it difficult so Paron stood on the inside and held one in place. “Cadet, Lieutenant, grab the other enhancers and make sure they are secure for transport. Doctor, get this guy ready for evac directly to sickbay on the Endeavor” he said to the rest of the away team. Paron knew he didn’t have long before the ship would fall apart and they would be stuck here for longer than they would like.

Lieutenant (J.G) Torias Paron, CoS

Buckingham hurriedly prepared the patient for Transport. He did his best to ensure that the patient would be in the least discomfort during the transport cycle through the application of medicament.
Tom’s appraisal of the situation was only a brief one as he was aware that time was becoming ever tighter. As far as he could tell everything was O.K.
=/\= Clear to Transport =/\= Buckingham said.

Lt. (J.G) Thomas Buckingham - CMO

The patient with the broken leg lurched to one side suddenly and hugged the rock that he had earlier been sitting guard over. “It .. goes with me,” he said, clinging to it as a child might a doll, albeit in this case a large doll.

Kai moved as fluidly as possible, managing the EVA suit as his bests. When he reached the enhancers, Oliver took it and resettled its position, pressing the button to turn it on. In the other hand the Cadet gave a look to K’Resh looking out for any sign of struggle.
=^= My enhancer is set and ready, sir.=^=
He hoped to leave the ship as soon they could as the environment was not inspiring.

Cadet Kai O. Kingstone - Scientist

There was a call in from the transporter room. =^= I have a lock. It’s shaky but I have a lock. First transports away =^=

As half of the team accompanied by two of the crew were transported out there was a lurch and a crack as the spine of the asteroid began to give way; the ship’s hull warped and twisted as it was on the fault line. Crane and another of the crew was left while Kai and Torias remained on the shuttle awaiting the second transport.

It was all Kai could do to keep the enhancers upright and himself as well in the turbulent ride that was that of a disintegrating asteroid of ice and stone. As gravity took its toll, or the lack thereof everything started to lift … and those left with it … and the shell of the vessel splintering and splitting around them …

They felt the familiar tug of the transporter effect … moments later they were aboard ..
